There are times in life when you can't judge the job a person does until you are in his or her shoes. During our last show, I got to walk in the big shoes as the executive producer of Metro Minutes.
The nerves and stress were definitely prevalent in the days leading up to the taping. There was so much work to accomplish, with a bevy of changes and last minute adjustments. Even on the day of taping there were several hurdles to overcome.
Ultimately though, the show was a success. Jeremie and Elizabeth did a great job both in script preparation and awareness. They also were strong in adjusting things on the fly. Jeremie's strength was attention to details. Elizabeth's strong camera presence gave the show an extra push.
In the end, what you get out of a show is what you put into it. It's always easier when you work with those who feel the same.
